Candlescript font was designed by M Fairuzulhaq aka Ve, founder Vast (logotype & independent type foundry from Indonesia), and first published in August 2014. Candlescript font have a script and italic style. The body text of Candlescript font has been designed with high details, precisely, smooth and flow, so it is suitable used as a logotype, custom
typeface, tittle, header, or any kind of advertisements purpose.
Candlescript font have more than 2750 Glyphs which is consist of Uppercaps, Smallcaps, Numerals, Fractions, Punctuations, Diacritical Marks, and most other Glyphs is a variation which is parts of the OpenType features such as
Standard Ligatures, Discretionary Ligatures, Stylistic Alternates, Contextual Alternates, Tittling Alternates, and thousands of Swashes.
Candlescript font also very adaptable when combined with other fonts, wether it is a Sans sherif, Slab sherif, Sherif ,
Regular or Italic. It allows the Candlescript font to be one of the multi-functional display font option and it will surely
beautify your layout and looked very professional.
Candlescript font is available in OpenType file format (.otf). This OpenType features are not working automatically,
but you can access by manually and for the best results are needed for your creativity in combining these variations
Glyphs. I totaly recomended to using a program whch support the OpenType features and the Glyphs panel such as
Adobe Illustrator and Adobe inDesign, so that you can see and access overall of the Glyphs variations.

Candlescript font has many variations

Uppercaps, allowing you to be free and
to be creative with a variety of alternative glyphs available.
The example left is an example of the
variation the letter A and these features
are also founded into others variety Uppercaps A-Z.
Likewise with swashes variations on
smallcaps character sets also have more
variety as swashes variations for use in
the middle of a word also option for use
in the end of words.
On the next pages will be shown examples of swashes variations on the letter
h, and such variations are also founded
in other smallcaps letters.

How to use the Candlescript font

STEP 01. Open your Adobe Illustrator program and Open a new document. (before opening adobe ilustrator
program, please make sure that Candlescript Pro font have been installed). Then simply typing a word up to
you, in this example I wrote "Candlescript".

STEP 02. Activate the Glyphs panel by clicking "Type" on the toolbar "Glyphs", or it could be the another
ways by clicking "Window" on the toolbar then choose "Type" "Glyphs".

Make sure all of the OpenType features deactive.

STEP 03. Then, It will appear the Glyphs Panel such as image above. Through this Glyphs Panel it shows all
of the Candlescript character sets.

STEP 04. Next, please open the OpenType Panel by clicking "Window" on the toolbar and it will be shown as
picture above, but make sure all OpenType features deactive. It is intended that the word have been first typed
using Standard glyphs.

STEP 05. Please Drop a single letter that willing to be replaced with alternative characters, then refer to the
Glyphs Panel, in the column "Show" by means replacing to "Alternates for Current Selection". (Character sets
that looks at the Glyphs Panel will follow the letter that being added).

STEP 06. Choose the alternative Glyphs by double-clicking one Glyph that you want to use.

STEP 07. Repeat step 05 and 06 to replace other letters.

STEP 08. Voila!! Now you can create a custom logotype in a few minutes. Goodluck!!
