Accounting Specialist
The accounting specialist will work in our Pawnee City, NE location. The individual
will work with fixed asset accounting, classifications, and reporting, provide project
management, budget adherence, and financial tracking support to all major financial
initiatives, including all capital project, grant writing and administration of grants, and
budget and forecast support. This position will provide accounting support to major
financial accounting areas, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, order
entry, and general ledger accounting. A four-year college degree in business or
accounting field preferred. Two year degree required. May substitute experience in
lieu of degree. Two years prior accounting or related business experience required.
Preference given to those with applicable experience in business management,
grant writing, and project management. Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel
required. Ability to analyze & manipulate large amounts of data, using V Lookups,
pivot tables & other advanced functions within Excel.
