The process of increasing the knowledge and skills of the work force to enable them to
perform their jobs effectively. Training is, therefore, a process whereby an individual
acquires job related skills and knowledge. Training cost can be significant in any business.

to benefit from employees development and progress. My training was on Windows phone
and Android Platform .
Introduction to programing for the Android and Windows platform course is designed to
quickly get you up to speed with writing applications for android and windows devices. We
will learn the basics of android platform. We will get to understand the application life cycle.
By the end of the course we will be able to write simple GUI applications, use built in widget
and components, work with the database to store data locally, and much more. This is a
perfect course to get started with android and windows phone.

2. THE PROJECT UNDERTAKEN

2.1. Project / System Definition
The project I worked upon, is basically a personal utility app, provides various functionalities
such as income expense manager, personal reminder manager, contacts backup and many
other features.
2.2. Objective
This app mainly has three objective- income expense manager solution, personal reminder
app solution and contacts management solution.
Money; it is one of the most essential commodity of the modern world, without it even food,
the prime need is inaccessible to human. Mostly people lose tracks of their incomes and
expenses, where did money came from and where it went? They fail to make proper
budgetary plans due to unavailability of complete financial data. Thus, personal money
management or personal finance management is one of the most important techniques one
should practice, to deal with his/her finance.
This app is perfect one to keep track of one's financial efficiency. It is easy to understand and
the best way to record your financial data.

Now that the mobile phone has become our constant companion, what better place to keep
those to do list of things. In this app, I will review many of the top Android apps dedicated to
our quest to remember what to do next, What do you need to do, today, next week, next
month, or sometimes just later, we have all created to do lists.

This app provides the best solution to back up your contacts on server later to restore them
back.
2.3. Project Scope
Since one of the main feasible feature of this app is income expense manager, it is quite
useful in business areas, business mans daily need is to maintain their income and expenses,
in fact every hour they need someone to take care of all their financial report, this app finds
the place here.
Another important feature of this app is personal reminder and contacts management, and
since these two are in the daily requirements of the any human being, so it has large areas to
cover for its utility.

3. CONCLUSION

This app is designed and developed so as to fulfill the daily requirements of

users, such as managing income and expense, personal reminder and contacts
management.
Income expense manager helps users to manage their incomes and expenses,
right from adding income and expense records to getting notifications on the
regular basis reminding about the new income received or about the expense to
be made.
Personal reminder feature of this app will help users to make useful reminders
of activities which they dont want to forget.
Contacts management feature will help user keep their contacts safe by creating
a backup of it and uploading over cloud so as to restore them as and when
required.
