Volunteer Champions
Have you led a program/business/ministry? Please consider using your
expertise to lead one of our many ministries. Volunteer Champions are being
sought to coordinate/lead many ministries within the church. A champion
can be either an individual or a couple, and must be a church member.

CROWN MINISTRY

Crown Ministry teaches biblical principles regarding finances and possessions.

The champion should have a heart to help others learn these principles and to
help people in financial crisis. The champion will:
• Recruit leaders and counselors
• Schedule events throughout the year
• Recruit class members
• Assess the needs of individuals/couples for financial counseling

The weekly time commitment would vary but is estimated to average five
hours per week. This champion can be a seasonal resident.

OTHER MINISTRIES NEEDING A VOLUNTEER CHAMPION

• Helps Outreach (evangelistic outreach collecting and distributing food,

used furniture, household goods, clothes)
• Mentoring Children of Single Parents
• Disaster Relief Teams
• Divorce Care & Divorce Care For Kids
• Carpenter’s Crew (for widows and single parents)
• Needs News (FBCN document published weekly which highlights
opportunities for service, notices, employment, wanted items,
items for sale, etc.)

Golf to benefit Protected Harbor

February 26.

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Old Corkscrew Golf

Club ranks as, perhaps, the best course in Florida.

Our first home will be ready April 1 for 6 women who are
developmentally disabled. They are God’s special people
who will have an opportunity to grow and develop spiritually
and emotionally into all God would have them be.
Full time, quality care, living skills instructions, workshop
and vocational opportunities for earning wages, classroom
and physical education, along with social activities and
companionship are part of the residents’ home lives.
We still need to raise another $220,000 to finish,
furnish and support the home. We also must start
raising the $900,000 approximate construction cost
for the next home. We need your help to do this.
You may register for the golf tournament on our web
site at www.godsprotectedharbor.com.
Play a little golf (or donate if you don’t play golf) and help
us build for the glory of God! His special people need you.
“Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well being.”
1 Cor. 10:24

Protected Harbor is registered with the IRS as a 501(C)(3) corporation. All donations are tax deductible.

Sermon Notes
It is our desire that Jesus be the focus in our worship services. Therefore, in
consideration of others desiring to worship with limited distraction, we ask each
person to do the following:
- Please turn your cell phone off or set to vibrate.
- Please remain in the worship center (except in the case of
emergency) once you have entered to worship.
- Should your child become unsettled or noisy during the
worship service, please take your little one to the Fellowship
Hallway or preschool ministry area in the Education
Building where you can comfortably watch the service
on a television monitor.
Thank you for helping us maintain a worshipful atmosphere for everyone!
