There are numerous number of cable which must be connected to their own socket or terminal as
to ensure that the radar is functioning as we want it to be.
5.3 SIGNAL CABLE CONNECTION
As for the connection for signal cable, there are several step which needed to be followed, it is:
1. The waterproofing cladding cover was removed first from the DJ-1 at the back of the
radar display unit.
2. Then we now can connect the DJ-1 signal cable on the rear panel of the display unit
3. The connector must be covered with the rubber cover as to avoid any undesirable
condition.
4. The boot-band then being assemble as shown above, all of the 4 screw then put into
fix.
This is an optional external buzzer provided along with this marine radar. This buzzer would
provide a louder alert when the guard alarm is violated and being triggered.

As for further assemble, we need the optional cable assv MJ-A7SPF0007-050C (w/7P connector,
5 m, code no. 000-154-028-10).
1. Attach the MJ-A7SPF0007-050C cable assy (option) to the DATA 3 port at the rear of
the display unit.
2. Cut the XH connector at the end of external buzzer cable with appropriate length.
3. Solder the cables made at step 2 with MJ-A7SPF0007-050C cable as shown above
4. Fasten the buzzer with the double-sided tape or two tapping screws (3x15 or 3x20, local
supply).
