Now What

As youve been increasingly aware of Jesus imminent return today, in

what ways do you feel prompted or challenged to respond?

As a %, if Jesus were to return tonight, how sure are you that you would
be welcomed into his kingdom?

In what ways do you desire to experience more of Jesus Kingdom on

earth, and how will you be more available and expectant for this?

Pray
Ask if there are any stories of answered prayer, any updates on things
prayed for, or new things people would like prayer about.
Make a note of any prayer requests so you can followup next week.

Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he
will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to
those who are waiting for him.
- Hebrews 9:28

What

So What

If possible, watch the video clip at (which portrays Jesus coming as King
into Jerusalem)
Read Hebrews 9:26-28
When Jesus arrived in Jerusalem the people rightly welcomed him as the
promised messiah and king. Yet they didnt at that time receive all they
might have expected. Jesus made the kingdom available to all who would
receive him, but he also said the fulfilment of his Kingdom would ultimately
come when he comes back.

Read Acts 1:1-11

Some people live without any thought of Jesus return. Others obsess about
Jesus return and dont give much focus to what should happen in this life
until he returns. The Bible says Jesus will come back as the returning King
but we dont know when that will be. We are to wait expectantly for his
return, but to make the most of living this life for him.

What difference does the fact that Jesus is coming back at any time
make? How should it affect things like our jobs, relationships, how we
use our time etc.

What difference does it make to you personally? In what ways do you

think it should make more of a difference?

What are we supposed to be doing while we wait for Jesus return? Why
is this important?

In what ways are we to be witnesses to Jesus until he returns? How

does this cause Jesus Kingdom to come?

What do you think a) the crowd and b) the disciples expected to happen
when Jesus arrived in Jerusalem?

What did Jesus accomplish when he came, and in what ways has his
kingdom now come? How have you experienced Jesus Kingdom on
earth personally?

What signs do we see that Jesus kingdom has not yet been fulfilled on
earth? What are we expecting to happen when Jesus comes back?

How do you feel about Jesus return?
