engineering fields covered by WSP Group SRL to join us and develop together with us.
Job Description:
The main task will be to draft electrical installations layouts and schematics in commercial and industrial
buildings to WSPs internal standards, to include:
Draft services drawings for electrical infrastructure, lighting, small power, fire alarm systems, security
and IT containment etc. 3D (Magicad) to a very high quality level;
Draft electrical panels schematics to a very high quality level;;
Prepare bill of quantities;
Assist Engineers and Senior Engineers in drafting Reports and other written documents in English
and/or Romanian, as required;
Follow in full the QA processes relevant to project work, ensuring drawings, specifications, reports and
correspondence are prepared, issued, filed and archived in an appropriate manner, in accordance with
the companys QA protocols
Further responsibilities include:
Assist in the production of detailed equipment schedules for issue with the discipline specific design;
Work in co-ordination with all other design team members whether internal of external;
Understand the limits of our duties under any commission;

Develop an understanding of project risk allied to the discipline and flag these to the WSP project
leader;
Implement the WSP QA procedures under the direction on the WSP project manager and fully
understanding our WoW process at a project delivery level;
Check your own work for compliance with good practice and the project brief;
Present your work to the WSP project leader for approval prior to issue;
Assist others with defects inspections and snagging;
Assist others in the witnessing of commissioning for the project;
Participate in technical design reviews;
Develop an understanding of maintenance and installation practices within the design.
Demonstrate awareness of project risk issues, flagging potential problems to project leader.
Demonstrate awareness of companys corporate values.
Demonstrate sound work ethics in respect of the companys ABC (Anti-Bribery and Corruption)
principles.
Report to the Line Manager any issues that may affect the effective delivery of projects on agreed
deadlines, the quality of the projects or any other points likely to affect the companys image;
Assist at testing & commissioning process and provide input to reports as required.

Education and experience:

Relevant Engineering degree in Building services/Electrical Engineering or similar (or attending a
relevant University course)
Minimum 1 year experience of CAD drafting electrical systems for buildings

Data/IT:
Proficient skills in AutoCAD 2011-2014
Experience of MagicCAD or similar electrical 3D design software is an advantage
Good skills in Microsoft Office
Experience in NavisWorks, Solibri or Revit is an advantage but not a requirement.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems for buildings

Personal qualities:
Ability to work in a team and demonstrate work and moral ethics
Ability to respect deadlines and achieve targeted results whilst working individually
Very good verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Experience of the Swedish market is an advantage
Availability to travel
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information

Job Location:
The selected Candidate shall begin by working in one of WSPs offices in Sweden for 3-6 weeks. Following this
period and upon the results of its Performance Review, the selected Candidate shall continue working on
projects in Sweden from the WSPs office in Bucharest.
