E BANKING

1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Abstract:
As the name specifies E-BANKING is software for managing
their account at anywhere any time. The new information technology is
becoming an important factor in the future development of financial
services

industry,

and

especially

banking

industry.

Growing

international trading and problems in transferring money have


motivated researchers to introduce a new structure. E-banking is such
idea. Most of banks are using the Internet as a new distribution
channel. E-banking or on-line banking is a service provided by many
banks and credit unions that allow conducting banking transactions
over the Internet using the information and communication technology.
E-banking also provides opportunities for creating new sets of global
and national trading relationships with the emergence of web and the
Internet.

This

project

presents

through

survey of

e-banking

describing definition, barriers, benefits from the customers, economy,


and bank point of views, and main issues and challenges such as risk
management and factors responsible for e-banking development.

1.2 Scope:
E-banking is basically handling all your banking transaction over
the internet. This is done through a secure site. This is to assure that
all the data remain secure and only authorized people can get across
the firewall to access the data.

1.3 Abbreviations:
E-banking Electronic banking.

2. OVERVIEW OF EXISTING SYSTEM


In existing system when power switch off happens while
transferring funds we dont know whether the amount transferred or
not. So data will loss. In this case the user feels more inconvenient.
They have to go for the bank and to check the details. The above all
are done manually. So they are facing problems. The following are the
problems in existing system:

3. OVERVIEW OF PROPOSED SYSTEM


In proposed system we overcome all the drawbacks in existing
system. Here we implemented new technology. In this the user can
check their account details whether the transferred amount reaches

the destination account through online without going to the bank. So


no data loss occurs and manual work occurs.
