Electromagnetic Field Theory

Course Objectives:

To introduce three-dimensional spatial field concepts, To convey the knowledge of electric and
magnetic fields necessary for the analysis and/or design of electronic systems involving Microwave
components and Antenna.
Brief Outline:

Vector analysis, Static electric field and scalar potential, Dielectric materials, Electric force and
energy, Potential problems, Steady currents, Magnetic field and vector potential, Maxwell equations,
EM energy conservation, Wave equation and EM waves,
Pre-Requisite(s):
