Letter grades will be assigned as given below. I reserve the right to make the grading scale easier than given here. 90-100 80-89 70-79 0 -69 A B C F

Your grade will be based only on your test scores. PLEASE do not ask me to change your grade or give you a grade for any other reason. I know that some of you will lose scholarships, be deported, etc. if you do not make a certain grade; there is nothing I can do about this. Of course, if a mistake was made in scoring, I will correct it. Any requests for changes to scores must be made within 30 days after the day the graded material was returned to the class. Any request for a grade change must be made within 60 days after the day that grades were posted.

ACADEMIC HONESTY The University of Texas System Policy on Academic Honesty appears in the Regents Rules and Regulations, Part One, Chapter VI, Section 3, Paragraph 3.22. Any student who commits an act of scholastic dishonesty is subject to discipline. Scholastic dishonesty includes but is not limited to cheating, plagiarism, collusion, the submission for credit of any work or materials that are attributable in whole or in part to another person, taking an examination for another, any act designed to give unfair advantage to a student or the attempt to commit such acts. The minimum penalty for academic dishonesty is a failing grade (zero) for the project or examination. Do your own work on all projects and exams. ASSIGNMENTS from Rosen 5th Edition Assignments will not be graded. They are given so you can learn the material and practice for the tests.
