SCENE 1
EXT. NIGHT. BONFIRE.
*Camera focus on bonfire. Zoom out. Tapos dapat kita yung likod ng mag-jowaers.
SALA: (naka-cross yung arms nila ni Hikaru; medyo nostalgic ang expression ng mukha :D)
What was your best memory of your dad?
HIKARU: (medyo annoyed nung narining yung dad) Well, uh, all I remember is I hate him.
Thats the only memorable thing I have from him. Hatred.
SALA: (na-sad nang konti) Hey, sorry to mention it. I should not have said that.
HIKARU: (smiles, pat sa hair) Its okay. Not your fault. I love my mom though. She means
the world to me.
SALA: (smiles) Oh yeah. Sure she is! Tell me more about her! (excited face)
HIKARU: (ngiting victory!) Well, moms not that of a nagger and stuff. Since the Kobe
earthquake, she has been a reserved woman. She works as a researcher at a broadcasting
station, by the way. Maybe thats the reason why I love her so much. Shes just quiet and
just scolds me if I am dead wrong. (giggles)
SCENE 2
INT. DAY. KOMURAS.
WIFE: (stares blankly at the T.V., naka-slouch)
KOMURA: (sipping coffee, nakatingin kay wife na medyo malungkot ang eyes, tapos after ng
2 sip ng kape, lalapit kay wife sa sofa) Hey, we havent spoken in a while. Do you want
something to eat before I leave?
WIFE: (iling pero di nakatingin kay Komura)
KOMURA: Well then. Let me know if you need something. You could call me anytime, okay?
Ill leave now. Bye. I love you! (kiss sa forehead)
SCENE 3:
INT. DAY. KOMURAS.
KOMURA: (nagulat na nalungkot na face, nilapag ang note sa table at napa-isip ng saglit)
*camera blurs =))
SCENE 4
INT. DAY. KOMURAS OFFICE.
OFFICEMATE: Well, Im sorry for that. Must be tough right now for you. (taps on the
back)

INT. CAFETERIA. DAY.
SCENE 6
INT. DAY. KEIKOS HOUSE.
SCENE 7
SHIMAO: (katok sabay pasok) Keikoooooooo! (hug)
KEIKO: (hug din malamang LOL) Hey hey. Calm down. Mr. Komura is here.
SHIMAO: Komu(tingin kay Komura yung medyo startsruck)ra.
SCENE 8
*Shimao and Komura nakaupo sa sofa =)) Nanonood ng T.V.
SHIMAO: I bet you have a beautiful family.
KOMURA: (smirks) Well, bad guess.
SHIMAO: Why? Isnt it true?
KOMURA: My wife had gone somewhere I dont know. She left a letter saying how living
with me is like a chunk of air. It kinda hurts. (smile pa rin ng konti :D)
SHIMAO: Well, Im sorry about that.
KOMURA: Its okay. Its not your fault so dont be.
SHIMAO: (your head over his shoulder :D) I guess its okay to cheer up a little now.
KOMURA: (medyo nagulat) Well, uh, yes. You could say that.
SHIMAO: (hugs Komura)
KOMURA: (plays with Shimaos hair) Come to think of it, whats the something inside the
box?
SHIMAO: Is it bothering you?
KOMURA: It wasnt bothering me before. But now, I dont know, its starting to.
SHIMAO: All of a sudden?
KOMURA: Yeah, once I started thinking about it all of a sudden.
SHIMAO: I wonder why its started to bother you now, all of a sudden.
KOMURA: I wonder.
SHIMAO: Ill tell you why. Its because that box contains the something that was inside
you. You didnt know that when you carried it here and gave it to Keiko with your own
hands. Now, youll never get it back.
KOMURA: II dont get it
SHIMAO: You will, believe me.
*Balik sa present!
SCENE 9
EXT. NIGHT. BONFIRE.
SALA: Oh, the Kobe earthquake. How old were we that time?
HIKARU: Two years old maybe?
SALA: Right. Right. You know what, I used to have this friend named The Earthquake Man.
(smiles)
HIKARU: (Natawa rin :D) Earthquake Man? Okay. Tell me more about him.
SALA: Well, its kind of a long story. Are you willing to listen?
HIKARU: Of course, of course.
*FLASHBAAAAAAACK!
SCENE 10
INT. NIGHT. SALAS ROOM.
JUNPEI: So Masakichi got his paws full of honey, way more honey than he could eat by
himself and he put it in a bucket, and do-o-o-wn the mountain he went, all the way to the
town to sell his honey. Masakichi was the all-time Number One honey bear. (story-telling
po ituuu)
SALA: Do bears have buckets?
JUNPEI: Masakichi just happened to have one.
SALA: Oh, so he was a little different from ordinary bears.
JUNPEI: Well, yes, just a little. Masakichi was a kind of special bear. And so the othr
bears, who werent so special, tended to shun him.
SALA: Poor Masakichi!
JUNPEI: Yeah, really. So Masakichi didnt really belong to either world the bear world or
the poor world.
SALA: Didnt he have any friends?
JUNPEI: Not one. Bears dont go to school, you know, so theres no place for thm to make
friends.
SALA: I have friends in school! How about you, Jun?
JUNPEI: Your daddy is my absolute bestest friend from a long, long time ago. And sos
your mom.
SALA: Its good to have friends.
JUNPEI: Yes, youre right.
