DCS systems on site ensuring any repairs are carried out safely and promptly.

Responsible for carrying out isolations in a competent manner, complying with site safety
procedures.

Was heavily involved in the commissioning of the new HIPPS upgrade on site which involved
assisting the engineer with physically checking and red lining new loop drawings, loop checking the
new transmitters that were installed and checking that alarms/trips (2oo3 voting and rate of rise)
came in as per cause and effect diagrams. I also had to check that all valve instrumentation
(solenoids, limit switches etc.) were working correctly and that all the new HIPPS valves closed
within the specified times for their new SIL rating.

I was also involved in the commissioning of all the new ESD/ DCS level valves that were installed
onsite as part of an upgrade project. Again I was responsible for checking and updating/ red lining
loop drawings, loop checking all valve instrumentation back to the control room and function
checking all valves to ensure correct operation and control.

Provide technical assistance to new technicians and apprentices.

Identify and propose ideas and solutions that will increase efficiency and cut costs or time.

Part of the afterhours on call team and respond to any request for technical assistance.

I am a hard working highly motivated individual who enjoys learning new skills and is not afraid of a
