Science & IT block in Havailian.

1. Residence of principal is converted into classrooms after taking approval from

competent forum and computer lab is constructed.
2. The rooms of residence are two small in size and doors and windows are so
aligned that they may not be suitable to use for teaching purposes. There is
no suitable place for placing board or multimedia which are essentials for
teaching and especially computer education.
3. Construction work has been completed and electrification is finalized.
4. C&W Department has provided the handing taking over certificate of the
scheme to the principal which is under process.
RHC Havailiyan
1. The work was in progress. All Major structural work has been completed.
Finishing work is remaining.
2. The pouring of concrete at the beam-column joints was not done
monolytically and no symmetry was maintained in construction as shown
in photograph. This is in contradiction to the design requirement for
constructions in earthquake porn areas.
3. In ramp the columns are not aligned and weak joints are developed which
may cause collapse of building.
4. In the Mosque low quality of distempering is provided most of which is
detoriated.
5. Mehrab of Mosque was found damaged as shown in photograph.
6. Circular beam of overhead Tank was not properly laid on the columns as
shown in photograph and may lead to collapse of tank.
7. The ladder used in overhead tank for Operation and Maintenance
purposes is rusted.
8. The work in bathrooms is not yet finished and underground pipes are not
covered properly. This will lead to accumulation of sediments and dirt
particles in the sewerage system.
9. The pipes of sewerage are installed after final finishing and are left
uncovered.
10.The Graffiti used is of substandard quality.
11.Most of the Beams constructed were not of uniform and designed sizes
and were tapered as shown in photograph.
WSS AMC
1. The raising main is passed in the main sewer line on Mansehra Abbottabad
Road. Any small leakage in the pipe will cause contamination of water and
may lead to epidemic as this water is used in operation theaters and wards
where patients are already porn to diseases.
2. The pipes are connected using welding instead of joints and sockets. No test
of welding has been carried out yet. The department may be asked to
conduct field testing of welds to ensure that no leakage and thus
contamination will happen in the designed period of project.

3. The pipes used were checked and found of specified thickness and from
approved firm.
4. During visit it was pointed out that an agreement was made with owner of
land for supply of water to him directly from tube well but it was not supplied
yet. This dispute must be solved in the initial stage to avoid any unwanted
conflict in future.
WSS Chamnaka
1. Two tube wells were proposed and constructed but only one was
functional. There other was not made functional due to non electrification
by Wapda. The Wapda has been approached by the department several
times but no progress has been made.
2. After completion of the scheme it is handed over to local community for
operation purposes but no person has been made responsible for
operation and maintenance of the project.
3. During visit tube well was stopped.
4. No record of connections drawn and Operating hours has been
maintained.
5. Leakage was observed from the main valve near tank which needs
immediate remedial measures.
6. Distribution network was made as per the approved plan.
WSS Jandaka
1. Only the Civil work on the tube well and collection tank is completed and no
mechanical installations are yet made.
2. Pipes were banded near the tank as shown in photograph. This will result in
pipe strength reduction to withhold high pressure near pump and collection
tank.
3. Pipes used for raising main and distribution network were of specified quality
and obtained from approved firm.
4. The physical progress was very slow. The Department may be asked to
accelerate the pace of work to complete work in time.
5. Electrification is still awaited.

WSS Lodhi Abad

1. The scheme completion is scheduled in next financial year. TS is accorded
only for tube well for an amount of --------- on --------.
2. The boring of tube well is completed.
3. Estimate for distribution network and raising main works has been revised
and submitted for approval.
WSS Sumbal Dhra

1. Civil work is completed on chamber and collection tank from spring.

2. Mechanical equipments are not yet installed.
3. The pipes used for raising main and distribution network are of specified
thickness and obtained from approved firm.
4. A portion for length -------------- should be suspended. The Department may be
asked to find alternate route or take necessary actions to avoid structural
damages to the pipe. The quality of construction work is satisfactory.
5. The physical progress is very slow. The Department may be asked to
accelerate the pace of work.
