What is PIT STOP?

Pit stop a stop in the pits for servicing and refueling especially during a race and
also a brief rest especially during a journey. In our walk as Christians there are also
PIT STOPS. There we are not just refueled but are encouraged, reminded and
eventually comes out stronger even before. Pit stops in the Christian
life are the PROMISES of God.
Promises are words are either spoken or written binding a person to do or not to do
something. Promises are as important as diamonds. There is a powerful force
behind every promise because it involves two or more people. It involves emotions.
It can bring forth excitement and eventually joy once it is fulfilled. But sometimes, it
cause wounds so deep if the promise is broken. It can build trust or it can destroy
trust. And we all make promises. Sometimes we keep it but there are moments
that we cant and we dont for some reasons.
God is not human. Our God is a promise making God and at the same time a promise
keeping God. That what makes Him God. A Divine promise is God assurance that
He will do or not do a certain act. Of course, we are all excited to discover
what the promises of God are.
In the first place, our Christian life should revolve within His PROMISES.
It is good to know the what but it is much better to know the why.
Once we understand WHY God is making promises, then we will know Him better.
We will know His heart better. We will be able to walk closely with Him.
We can have a deeper communion with Him.
When we know HIS PROMISES and FAITHFULNESS, we eventually will have
FULLTHANKSGIVING TO HIM!
WHY DOES GOD MAKE PROMISES?

Faith comes from the hearing the message about Christ...

The promises of God will take you somewhere that you are supposed to go

In the New Testament, the Great Commission ends with a promise that He will be with
us even to the end of the age

HAPPEN so that when it happens, you know that it was Him who
made it happen!
