Dr. Kent Hovind taught high school science before beginning Creation Science Evangelism
in 1989. Over the years, he consistently defended the position that the Bible is true and
scientifically accurate. His extensive knowledge and research on this topic make him an
expert in the field, and his energetic speaking style and humor make his lectures exciting,
enjoyable, and even entertaining!

We hope your student will enjoy and profit from all that he learns during this
informative class. Your teacher, Dr. Hovind, will introduce the student to many concepts
of creation science, including worldviews, types of evolution, the big bang, the age of the
earth, the Garden of Eden, dinosaurs and the Bible, mysterious creatures that are alive today,
lies in the textbooks, the dangers of evolution, and his theory regarding the ice age and
various geologic features around the world. In the final sessions, Dr. Hovind answers many
questions that are asked regarding the creation vs. evolution debate. Most importantly,
Dr. Hovind gives Christians a battle plan with practical steps to fight evolution.

This course is designed to be used in conjunction with Creation Science Evangelisms
Seminar Workbook, which will be completed while watching video segments. There are two
course guides included with this material: a one-semester (18 week) course outline, or a two
semester (36 week) course outline. Each track includes quizzes and a final exam. The one
semester course is solely based upon the Creation Seminar series. In addition to the Seminar series, the two semester course outline implements supplemental books and movies to
cover the subject in a more thorough manner over the course of a school year. Any of the
supplemental materials can be interchanged with books or movies in the home library that
would fulfill the same purpose.

Dont all scientists believe in evolution?
No, the founders of nearly all branches of science believed in creation.
Even today, there are many scientists in every branch of science that believe in creation and
intelligent design.

Where are all the human remains if there was a world-wide flood?
At this point in history, there were still many more animals than people, so there were not as
many people drowned. Since men are smarter than animals, they would have attempted to
escape to the top of hills, or raft or floating objects. Thus, their bones would have been left
on top of the sediments to rot.

Was ancient man primitive?

No, both history and Scripture indicate that before the flood and in the days of Noah, people
were much smarter than the average person today.
Does evolution fit what the Bible teaches?
Only one form of evolution fits what the Bible teachesmicroevolution is scientific and Biblical, as it refers to variations within kinds. It is the only one that is observed. All other meanings of the word evolution are assumed true by association.
Are there contradictions in the Bible?
No. There may be apparent contradictions in the Bible, but each one can be explained by a
thorough and in depth study of the passage and the context in which it is found.
What is a unicorn?
This word is mentioned in the Bible six times. Nobody knows for sure what this beast was.
Perhaps it was a stocky strong reptile that existed years ago. We will have to wait and ask
God for an answer to that question.
How should a Christian respond to all the evil in the world?
Live for God Pray for wisdom (James 1:5); Win souls (Mark 16:15);
Dont get discouraged (I Corinthians 15:58)
What about global warming?
Just about as many scientists are concerned about global freezing or another ice age as about
global warming. There isnt enough data to be dogmatic. Most environmental hype is
brought upon by those who really want to take control of peoples lives and who dont truly
have a concern for saving the planet.
