TheHonorCodeisanundertakingofthe
students,individuallyandcollectively:

workthatistobeusedbytheinstructor
asthebasisofgrading.
2. Thattheywilldotheirshareandtakean
activepartinseeingtoitthatothersas
wellasthemselvesupholdthespiritand
letteroftheHonorCode.
Acts of Intolerance
AnActofIntoleranceisconductthatadverselyand
unfairlytargetsanindividualorgrouponthebasisof
gender,raceorethnicity,disability,religion,sexual
orientation,nationalityand/orage.
TheUniversityiscommittedtoprovidingasafeliving
andlearningenvironmentinwhicheverypersonis
valuedandrespected,inclusionisassuredandfree
expressionanddebateareencouraged.
TheUniversityacceptsthetaskofeducatingthenext
generationofleaderstounderstandandappreciate
theideasandopinionsgeneratedbyanincreasingly
globalcommunity.TheActsofIntoleranceProtocol
establishesamechanismforaddressingsituations
involvingarealorperceivedactofintolerance.In
suchaninstancewewishtoproceedthoughtfully,
providingsupporttoallofthoseaffected,whilealso
affirmingthatwevaluedifferences,freeexpression
anddebateassourcesofstrengthforourcommunity.
