CONTRACT OF SERVICE PRODUCTION & EXHIBITION


OF Show de Bola & Artexpo New York 2014
SECTION 1 - PURPOSE
1.1. This instrument aims at the provision of services
contracted by the Ward-Nasse Gallery a non for profit
organization______________________________________
________________________________________________
CONTRACTOR , the production and overall coordination of
fine arts exhibition services , as described and characterized
herein.

1.2. The contractor, after approval of the contract , shall


respect and fulfill all orders as well as the specifications
determined by the contractor ( a) , that provide services .
By this instrument, the parties described below , on one
hand the non-exclusive Ward-Nasse Gallery, responsible for
the work created by the artist for participation on the project
Show de Bola curated by Ms.Leda Maria, and will be
responsible for promotion and sales during the international
cultural project which happen in Manhattan - NY (sales will
be done online only in the official webpage of the project
and during the show in April 2015)

The exhibition will take place from April 23-26th, 2015 and
will be presented techniques of paintings , giclees and
sculptures only .The exhibition opening will take place on

ARTICLE 2 - PROPERTY
The whole work delivered on consignment to the gallery
remain the sole property of the artist. Sale occurring , the
corresponding value of 70% to the artist will be delivered in
full by the gallery, and payment will be done by PayPal
account.
Sales will be done online only and during the show , at the
official project page:
www.showdebola2014.net, and at ArtexpoNY Pier 94.

SECTION 3 LIABILITY
.
The insurance of the art work if is necessary are the sole
responsibility of the artist during transportation to the place
or to send it back to it country.
Insurance will be made only on the dates of the show by
the Gallery.
SECTION 4 - ON VALUES AND COMMISSIONS
The Ward-Nasse Gallery will have exclusive rights to sell
works within the location where exposures occur and online
gallery that will be on the official project homepage (
www.showdebola2014.net) . The value of the art work will
be agreed between the artist and The Ward-Nasse Gallery,
according to what was stated in the description when the
artist filled the form online.
The percentage given to the Ward-Nasse Gallery will be 30%
on the value of the work in case of sale .
The Ward-Nasse Gallery will be responsible for payment to
the artist within 30 days after the sale of the art work . And
the artist will be notified by email when the work is sold, and
a copy of the invoice will be sent by email to the artist also .
If payment is made by PayPal or by credit card It will be
taken a fee of 4 % of the sale also amount that is charged
by card companies and Paypal . The artist will receive a
receipt for each sale and receipt of payment by the buyer.
The Ward-Nasse Gallery will pay the artist by paypal, and
artist has to provide a paypal account ( an e-mail address)
to the Ward-Nasse Gallery.
SECTION 5 - DELIVERY AND WORKS AND RETURN
5.1. FOR CULTURAL AGENT : The packaging ,
transportation and delivery of works at the location indicated

shall be the sole responsibility of the artist ( door to door


only when outside of USA). The work shall be delivered until
April 20th,2015 at the location indicated below:
Art Gallery 35 Main Street, Sussex , NJ 07461, USA. And
the address is provide only to receive the art work, the
gallery has nothing to do about customs services or other
services, art work MUST be delivered door to door, will
never work with any shipper company about none of these
issues, I mean shippment and customs services and customs
taxes if it has to be paid.Its all on the artist to work with
shipper companies and customs .
5.2. FOR BUYERS OF ARTICLES : Buyer will be
responsible for sending the work to the place destined from
them , and will be responsible for paying the shipping too .
5.3. WORKS ON RETURN NO - SOLD : Within one month
( 01 ) after the exhibition in USA, of unsold art work will be
returned to the artist .
The artist will be responsible for forwarding the art work to
the place destined from him/her if not sold, and must also
provide the number of an account with a shipping company,
abroad , such as Courier , Fedex / DHL ,UPS and etc. .. . for
the payment of the same (Shipping to be paid in their own
countries .
If this information is not provided , the art work will go to
auction in order to cover storage costs after a month .
NOTE: Selection of artworks for the exhibition will be
previously taken by the curator Ms. Leda Maria do Prado

SECTION 6 - ACTIVITY EVENT
6.1. LOCAL : Exhibition

6.2. ASSISTANCE : The artist will feature a tour of


assistants who coordinate the exhibition , installation ,
curated by Leda Maria , and sale of works online and at the
event from April 23-26,2015 during the show.And online
sales through June 30th, 2015.
6.3 . STORAGE : The Ward-Nasse Gallery must provide a
safe place for storage of works, before and after exposure
(15 days before the show, and one month after the event .

SECTION 7 - INAUGURATION
7.1. Thursday, April 23rd: 4PM 7PM
7.2. The request for any service that is not in this
instrument will be the object of a special budget , which
must be submitted to the approval of ( a) contractor.
SECTION 8 - INVITATIONS and Catalog

Electronic only on ISSUU will sending by e-mail. If need to


be printed each artist can does it by his/her own.
CLAUSE 9 - PUBLIC RELATIONS
Optional Public Relations can be provide if you wish and
artist will pay the costs for it.

SECTION 10 - PAYMENT
The artist will pay the amount corresponding to $ 1,300.00(
Thirteen hundred U.S. dollars - non-refundable ) for the
incorporation into signing the contract. And the total costs of
participation, plus:
$ 169.00 per each giclee made for the wall.
$ 100.00 per one picture of the art work in their catalog
page.
Total: 1,569.00 USD.
10.1 . FORMS OF PAYMENT :
Credit card ( Visa or Mastercard ) + 4% if is by credit card
PayPal ( info@wardnasse.com ) + 4% if is by paypal to
cover up their fees.
in USA by check or money order, total $ 1,569.00
And put in memo: ArtexpoNY2015 fee
This Agreement is made in the state , City of New York and
shall be governed in accordance with the laws of that State .
