Materials research was evolved in 1960, and it was recognized to

discover, create and design new materials. It is the study of material
science where most of the researchers focused on different metals
and ceramics. It is an interdisciplinary field to study the discovery
and designs of different materials. This study involves the materials
studying through the structure, performance, synthesis and
properties. Most of the materials research, researches are done in the
department of physics, chemistry, and biochemistry. This field is
explicitly explained through departments, societies, and journals.

nanotechnology and nanoscience research. Materials science is gaining a lot of importance in the world.
