Description Secretary looking for an estate planning job. Provides exceptional organizational skills, ability to
function as attorney's right hand person. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, typing of 75 wpm. Available for
overtime as needed.
• Review emails and attached documents to determine how to handle, file with client name and file number,
bill for expense.
• General office duties Screen emails according to importance; print out documents from emails; save a copy
of all emails for follow up purposes; alert the attorney to handle specific emails first; respond to emails
accordingly with the attorney’s permission and acknowledge of doing so; schedule meetings according to
emails received.
• Generate a client list from Microsoft Outlook/Contacts into a transportable binder.
• Calendar all meetings and appointments in Microsoft Outlook.
• Screen phone calls; transcribe calls containing information for follow up call, file a copy in billing file and
chronological file.
• Document processing; draft or clean copy; transcribe tapes.
• Confirm and schedule attendance to American Bar Association meetings. Obtain materials if meeting not
attended.
