Brief Service Terms and Conditions:
*Service deposit: A 1 or 2 month Service Deposit is charged to the customers account at the time of
activation. This deposit can be used against any outstanding or unpaid invoices to avoid service
interruption. Monthly invoices are generated on the 2nd of every month. Accounts with pre-authorized
credit card information will be billed on the 3rd of each month. Accounts with pre-authorized chequing
information will be charged on the 11th of each month. If a payment declines, CIK will contact the
customer for 5 days before disconnection. Service reactivation requires 7 business days and a 65$
reactivation fee.
*For Ontario customers, unlimited downloading and uploading subjected to CRTC rules and decision.
Order cancellation can be requested, but must received a minimum of 3 business days prior to the
activation date. For cancellations requested after service is activated, the customer will be billed for a
minimum of 30 more days, or longer depending on the customers request.
*For plans on a contract, if cancelled within the contract term, all the remaining months will be charged
upon the cancellation.
*Actual speed is determined by certain conditions like distance from central office, connection and time
of day. Internet usage is subject to Canada CRTC rules and government laws, and if any changes
occur, CIK will inform customers at least 30 days in advance.
*CIK provides 30 days customer satisfaction guarantee. For any cancellations before the activation
date, shipping fee will be charged back; all charges are refundable except the one-time processing fee.
If customer cancel the service within 30 days from the order completed date, no monthly fee will be
charged, any discounts will be charged back (one time charges such as activation fee, configuration
fee, shipping and handling fee etc. are non-refundable).
*For yearly payments, all accounts will be switched to monthly pre-authorized credit card billing once
the prepayment amount has been used up. Customers can choose to pay by pre-authorized chequing
option, must forward a copy of a void cheque and a completed and signed PAD form at least 30 days in
advance of the last month of the yearly prepayment. Otherwise your services will be interrupted; and
your monthly invoices maybe charged from the credit card on your account by default. If you do not wish
us to charge the monthly invoices from your credit card, please notice our customer service
representatives.
