Corporate Relations & Communication Department is going to arrange a workshop on CV/RESUME writing techniques for students and members of ICMAP. This
workshop would definitely help the participants in their academic and professional life.
A good curriculum vitae (CV) or resume - is vital when looking for work, especially when there are numerous candidates for the same job. There is no perfect
template, and each sector may require a different emphasis on a different aspect of the content, such as career history or qualifications. However, experts suggest
there are some basic rules on how a CV or RESUME should be written and the information that should be included. Many people think that one CV or RESUME will
fit all applications which is not true. Each CV needs to be tailored towards your own skills, experiences and your job application.

TRAINER: Mr Muhammad Ovais has worked in Financial, Real Estate, Textiles, Chemicals, Media, Health and Education
sectors during last 24 years. He is the founder of G1 TV, Pakistan's firs Edu-infotainment channel having collaboration with Voice of
America (VOA), University of California, Berkeley, etc. He is the Chairman of Fight Against Poverty and Ignorance (FAPI), an NGO
promoting education in the country. He is Administrator of a TB hospital being run by Karachi Anti Tuberculosis Association. He has
authored 24 books on IT, Organizational Behavior, Business Communication, Enterprise Management, Strategic Management,
and Public Speaking. He has delivered dozens of lectures as guest speaker in top business schools in the country. He has
conducted hundreds of trainings in the fields of HRD/HRM, Communication, Public speaking, Information systems, etc. He has the
honor of having first Information System Audit Workshop and HR Audit Workshop in the country in the year 2000.
