EarlyWatchAlertgenerationisaserviceprovidedbytheSAPSolutionManagerthatprovides
technicalinsightintheoperationofSAPsystems.ItusesgeneralrecommendationsandKPIfrom
SAPtodeterminethehealthoftheSAPsystem.Focusismostlyonmeasuringthecapacityofthe
systemandshowingpossibleissuesthatmightjeopardizeoperationinthefuture.

EarlyWatchAlertgenerationhastobeconfiguredbeforerelatedfunctionalitysuchasService
LevelReportingcanbeused.ThisdocumentdescribestheconfigurationofEarlyWatchAlertsfor
ABAPsystemsonly.

Prerequisites
Toperformthestepsasindicatedinthisdocument,thefollowingprerequisiteshavetobefulfilled.
SolutionManager4basicconfigurationhasbeenperformed(seereferenceIMG)
ThesystemforwhichtheEarlyWatchAlertaretobegenerateditconnectedtotheSolution
