Education and Outreach


Education is at the heart of KPC. Our education
and outreach programs provide low-cost and free
arts education opportunities for youth, families,
and community members of the Eastside.

EDUCATION PROGRAMS
School Matinees introduce K-12 students to the wonderful
world of performing arts. Our performances teach students
about different art forms,
cultures
and
academic
subjects including literature,
poetry, science, geography,
and languages. With free
tickets for students on free/
reduced lunch, the School
Matinees are accessible for all
students in our community.
Master Classes and In-School Workshops bring professional
music, dance, and theatre classes to local K-12 schools.
Future Arts Leaders
trains the next generation
of arts leaders. Through
internships
and
job
shadowing, KPC's
staff
provide
experiential
education for students to
develop 21st Century skills.

Devised Theatre program, a new initiative, introduces
local at-risk teens to multi-disciplinary art forms to create
an original performance based on their personal stories.
Ticket Donation program provides free tickets to School
Matinees for students on free/reduced lunch in K-12 schools
and free mainstage show tickets to local schools and social
service organizations in Kirkland and the Eastside.

Community Workshops provide free opportunities for


youth and community members to experience and learn
about the performing arts at local community centers.

SINGLE TICKETS
Single tickets may be purchased online at kpcenter.org
anytime. Tickets can also be purchased in person at KPC
or over the phone at 425.893.9900 during regular box
office hours.

SUBSCRIBE AND SAVE


Purchase tickets to four or more shows and SAVE 10%!
Purchase tickets to eight or more shows and SAVE 15%!
You will also save big on ticket fees. Subscribers pay a
one-time order fee of only $15!
Additional subscriber benefits include early access to the
best seats, free ticket exchanges, and special ticket offers

Box Office & Patron Information


BOX OFFICE HOURS
Regular box office hours are Tuesday through Saturday,
12:00 pm 6:00 pm. The box office stays open until
curtain time on performance days. For Sunday-Monday
performances, box office hours are 12:00 pm until curtain
time. Hours are subject to change seasonally.

SERVICE FEES

KPC charges a $3.00 service fee per ticket. Exceptions are


StoryBook Theater, Imagination Theater, and KPC Education,
which are just a $1.00 service fee per ticket. Ticketing service
fees are capped at $30 per order. Subscription service fees are
$15 per order. All sales are final.

EXCHANGES
Free exchanges are available to subscribers and members with
48-hour notice, and is subject to ticket availability. All other
patrons may exchange tickets for another KPC performance
with a $2.00 per ticket service charge. 48-hour notice is
required. Exchanges are subject to ticket availability.

PATRON SEATING
Our theater was designed so that every seat is the best seat,
providing an intimate experience, great sight lines, and prime
acoustics for every performance.
Seating for late patrons is at the discretion of the House
Manager and will cease 15 minutes after a performance has
started. We also adhere to a strict no babes in arms policy.

REFUNDS
We regret that we cannot offer refunds but will be glad to
exchange your tickets for another KPC performance. You
may also donate your ticket as a tax-deductible donation to
Kirkland Performance Center.
