DHL ApplicationsVideo Script

[Title slide] Welcome to the LOGICS system! And welcome to this installment
in a series of 4 LOGICS training videos.
In this third video, we will outline some of the key applications that are
available within the LOGICS system. Specifically we will discuss three
applications Performance Management, Document Control andAudits.

The first application we will discuss in this video is Performance
Management, this provides stakeholders with the information they need to
evaluate performance against key measures. This in turn will support DHL
Supply Chain operations to create efficient processes, improve service
quality, and reduce costs. It drives transparency of the business from
individual sites to divisional Supply Chain Global level.

By selecting the Performance Management application from the application
drop down menu, you will find multiple tabs listed across the top of the
application. Each Indicator set will have an inventory view providing a list of
records. From left to right we can see the All indicator Sets tab, OR we can
select a specific indicator set such as Global GoGreen Refrigerants/ Global Go
Green Transportation and so on for each Indicator set available in the
system.

The second application we will discuss is Document Control. This application
allows business users to access, share, edit and store documents. The
application acts as a web-based, central repository for all of the documents
and data critical to the business, and it automates key document processes
such as revision tracking, access control and search and retrieval.
Complete version control also guarantees that only the most recent and
approved versions of documents are being accessed and used across the
organization. Automated email notifications will further automate the
document review and approval processes, minimizing the time required to
track, revise and approve documents.
The document control application will also capturethe date, time and user
information for all document access and edits and automatically archives

every document version, maintaining a complete historical record for legal


and auditing purposes.

To access the application select Document Control from the application drop
down menu. You will see all of the document folders in the system down the
left side of your screen. To view the documents within a specific folder, click
on the folder name. If there are sub-folders you may need to click on several
folders until you see the folder contents in the middle of your screen.
Various Hyperlinks will be available above the folder documents these
include the Folder Contents, Pending Actions, Change Requests and
Outstanding Approvals, Returns and Reviews.

The final application available within LOGICS is titled Audits. This application
provides the business with the ability to manage any type of audit activities,
data and processes, from EHS, to quality, to compliance. The goal for the
Audit application for DHL is to provide the ability to conduct site audits which
will track scoring and compliance through LOGICSs Question Set
functionality. Through these Question Sets, records will be created and
assigned to sites to document any issues which require resolution from the
audit.

When we select the Auditsapplication from the Application dropdown, you
will be taken into the Create Auditpage where you can create a Newaudit.
After an audithas been entered in the system, you will be able to review the
details from any of the other 3 tabs available within the application. The
Draft, Scheduled and Completed Auditstabs will provide you with inventory
screens displaying all records. To view the details of an audit, click on the
hyperlink or Record number and you will be taken directly into the
information relating to that record.
