1. Introduction
QuickCallClient is the client application running at individual agent system. It has a basic crm inbuilt to save the details
of the caller and dispose the call after its completion.
2. Hardware Requirement
The application is light weight application and has following minimum hardware and software requirement.
Hardware: - Intel P4 Dual Core 2.0 Ghz Processor, 1 GB RAM, 40 GB HDD, USB Port and USB Headphone with echo
cancellation(For SIP phones only).
It is windows based application and works on Windows XP SP2 and Above versions.
3. Installation Steps
The installation steps is same for all versions of QuickCall Client application. Lets go through the installation and
configuration step by step so that it will be easier for installation and configuration. We are taking into assumption that
the QuickCallserver application is already installed, configured and running.

To start with please insert the setup CD recieved by you along with the delivery material. Run
QuickCallClientSetup from the Setup CD. You should get a welcome screen as shown in the snap. Click on Next
to proceed to next step
2. Please go through the agreement throughly. You should accept the agreement only when terms and
conditions are cleared. Unless you accept the terms and condition you wont be allowed to proceed further. So
after reading the agreement, click on I accept the agreement as shown in the snap and Next would
immediately get enabled. Click on next to go to the next step else installation will be terminated here.
3. By default QuickCallclient application would be installed at the path shown in snap. If user wants to change
the path then he can do so here. It is recomended to use the default installation path or keep the path same
for all QuickCallclient installation in the organisation so that support activity can be carried out easily. Click on
next to continue to next step of installation.
4. In this steps user can mention the name of program shorcut folder to he created so that it can be made visible
in the start menu Folder. It is recommendedto keep the default folder name as provided during the setup.
5. Here the user has to decide whether QuickCallClient application shorcut is to be created on the desktop or
not. If user wants to create a shortcut during installation then select the check box and click on next to
continue. The shortcut will be created on the local user desktop only. Here select the check box and click on
6. A summary of the previous steps is shown in this step. It will display the path where application will be
installed and the start menu program folder where all application shortcut will be created. If every thing is ok
then click on next else click on back to go to previous steps and rectify the wrong information.
7. The installation would start as per the information provided in earlier steps. The main QuickCallClient
application will be installed at the path mentioned by you and few other file will be installed at the Program
Files\CubeTools folder in the system drive. Once all files had been copied and registered then it will display a

Once installation is completed we have to configure the application so that it connects to the QuickCallserver
and enable other options in the application as per requirement. To configure the application, one should have
basic knowledge of windows configuration files. The configuration changes are done majorly in 2
configuration files (Windows Configuration File Structure) - DataClient.ini and QuickCallClient.ini.
10. Open DataClient.ini file from system root\Program Files\CubeTools\ActiveX Folder. Enable the RemoteHost
paramter under the section [DataClient] and put the IP of the QuickCallserver here. Save the file and run
QuickCallclient. Now the application should run properly. More configurations in the ini files are described in
next section
4. DataClient.ini
This is a configration file for DataClient Application. The QuickCallClient Application is connection less application
where no diarect connection is being made from the QuickCall database to fetch data. All the database request is
facilitated via dataManager Application installed at one of the QuickCall servers and dataClient Application. Lets see
what are the parameters available for DataClinet Application running at the client/agent systems.

5. QuickCallClient.ini
This file provide information to the QuickCallClient application. Here necessary setting is as well done for TAPI (For First
Party TAPI Application) or other interfaces like SIP or H323 applications. QuickCallClient application has inbuilt SIP
phone (Supported in Windows Only) and for H323 it uses Windows H323 TAPI driver. The ini File has global as well as
campaign wise paramters.
