What type of soil makes plants grow faster? By Victor

My hypothesis was supported be-
cause my plants show that sand was
best for this experiment. Although, the
normal soil did had good results and
was actually taller then sand but sand
started to have sprouts before normal
soil did. It also grew 3 sprouts and
normal soil only had one stem and no
sprouts plus soft clay had no results . I
also use some feedback from Grace
and said that maybe I should put more
than one seed in each plant, so I did.
That’s how sand got 3 sprouts.
There you go, sand was the best for
this experiment. But I also have some
questions for this experiment from
before, after, and during this experi-
ment:
What happens if I use a different type
of seed?
Can the amount of soil affect this
process?
How can I improve this experiment to
show a better process?

Do plants with or without worms grow faster? By Long

Conclusion: My experiment was "Will
a plant without worms or with worms
grow faster." I planted two trees for a
total of two weeks. When the experi-
ment started, the one with no worms
was four inches. The one with worms
was three. My hypothesis supported
the data because the one with worms
grew one and a half inches. The one
with out grew one.
Ronald said that my experiment had
no sample size. I then put the sample
size as, two plants and three worms.
Also, I watered each plant half a cup
everyday.
Follow up Questions:
1. Why does the plant with worms
grow faster?
2. If there are more worms then three,
would the plant have grown taller?
3. What if these plants didn't have in
same growing abilities, in other words
one grows slower than the other natu-
rally?
