Description:
Integration of the CloseGap technology as a second scanning
engine (as a replacement of the AVAST scan engine) in all
relevant components of the B2B product line

Replacement of the browser add-on based BankGuard


technology with the BankGuard 2. Extends the browser support
to IE, FireFox, Chrome (32/64 bits)
In the case of Microsoft Exchange 2013 - replacement of the
VSAPI based OnAccess Scan with an OnAccess scan based on
transport layer exchange agent. Microsoft Exchange 2007 and
2010 are still supported.
New persistent data storage on the SubnetServer side based on
local Microsoft SQLExpress database. Further changes related
to this feature:
Improved remote installation procedure for the
SubnetServer remote installation, taking care of the
silent Microsoft SQLExpress installation and the silent
SubnetServer database configuration on the
SubnetServer side
Improved local installation of the SubnetServer, taking
care of the silent Microsoft SQLExpress installation and
the silent SubnetServer database configuration
Database synchronization process, taking care of the
distribution of relevant data between the central
ManagementServer database and the new local
SubnetServer database
Integration of a new version of the Android based mobile client
that allows central management of all mobile client functions.
The mobile client has new GUI design

In case of a G Data Security Status problem, identified within
the customer network, additional information is displayed along
with the problematic clients. For instance:
Virus Signatures are not up to date, because of the fact
that the client was/is offline for a longer period of time
Firewall has a critical status for a specific client, due to
the fact that the firewall is not installed on the client or
the firewall is not activated on the client
Etc.
Furthermore, grouping capabilities are introduced in to the
reasons overview in order to ensure fast identification of types
of reasons
Replacement of the report status trend diagram with a diagram
that represents the real amount of reports per report types over
specific period of time
Introduces client security status within the Clients Overview Tab
that considers information such as:
Client offline/online Status
Virus Signatures up to date status
Infection reports
Etc.
Provides extended information (list of reasons) in the case the
status of a specific client is considered as critical

If a client is installed on a terminal server, the client is not
anymore displayed as single used license, but the amount of
simultaneously active user sessions on the terminal server are
considered instead
