WHAT(Objectives)
Activity: Enhancing the stamina levels of the kids and explaining the importance of physical
fitness.
Academics: Basic anatomy, Knowledge about German Drills, Language and introduction to
the basics of handball (rules and methodology ).

HOW (Methodology)
1.

We would start the class with normal warm up exercises which would be inclusive of
working up of the muscles through jogging and various stretching exercises.

Primary drill - The drill comprises of an activity regarding football skills and stamina
development. As depicted in the image attached , the drill will be executed. This drill
can incorporate 25 kids at a time . The remaining set of 10 kids will perform
secondary drill. This is to instigate various aspects of fitness in the kids.

Fun Game- Long Jump: The kids will be given the instructions about the
techniques of long jump and a close watch will be kept by the volunteers
on understanding and enhancing the abilities of the kids.

1 Cool down exercises(basic lower body stretches) and certain muscle relaxation
exercises to ease the body.

WHY

(Impact)

The main reason of this session is to introduce the kids with the sport of handball and
make them familiar with long jump.

With the kids we will start giving the importance of agility, sprint enhancement, ball
control which are key in any sport.

Each of the drill and the game is focusing on their fitness, movements and increase
stamina.

With handball we will initially be concentrating on the handling of the ball and the
basics rules of handball.

Explaining the game of long jump to the kids and making them understand how to
make the jump and the important impact it has on the strength development of the
kids.

Explain the rules of the activities.

One of us will demonstrate the drill and keep the instruction to minimal.

Each drill will have an incentive and if they fail to achieve it .We will have them do a
penalty drill as a team.

The drills will be conducted seriously and make the kids understand the importance
of each of the drills and start taking them as importance part of their daily curriculum
rather than a fun time or PT period.

WE DO

We will guide them along both the activities.

Encourage them to open up to us and help improve our drills in a way that suits them
and the volunteers.

Teach the importance of teamwork and physical and mental strength.

The importance of ball control and ball handling position.

The necessity of having physical muscular strength while undergoing long jump
training.

YOU DO
1 The kids need to understand the drill and its importance and finish each drill in the stop stipulated
time.The kids have to finish each drill as a team first.
2 Completely follow and believe the ability of their volunteers and understand the necessity of the
drills.
