MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 045-2014

GRANTING AUTHORITY TO HONORABLE ANN Y. ONGJOCO, MUNICIPAL MAYOR OF
GUINOBATAN, ALBAY, TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE
CAMALIG WATER DISTRICT (CWD) REPRESENTED BY ITS GENERAL MANAGER,
ENGINEER AJERCO C. COMA, IN CONNECTION WITH THE REQUEST OF BARANGAY
MINTO TO AVAIL OF ITS WATER SERVICES AS AUTHORIZED UNDER MUNICIPAL
RESOLUTION NO. 06-2014.

WHEREAS,
the constituents of Barangay Minto experiences scarcity/inadequacy in
water supply due to inevitable and usual locational conditions. It now therefore becomes the duty of
this representation and the concerned barangay government to seek definitive solution/s on how to
provide potable and sufficient water supply to them;
WHEREAS,
Municipal Resolution No. 06-2014, duly enacted by this august body,
approved the request of Barangay Minto to allow the Camalig Water District (CWD) to enter and
extend its services to their barangay, and such request was found by this august body to be
meritorious and beneficial to the constituents therein;
WHEREAS,
to further strengthen the agreement between this local government and
the CWD and thereby meet agreed objectives and define the duties and responsibilities of each
party, it now becomes indispensable to enter into a written agreement binding the parties thereto;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in
session assembled, to grant as it hereby grants authority to Honorable Ann Y. Ongjoco, Municipal
Mayor of Guinobatan, Albay, to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Camalig Water
District (CWD) represented by its General Manager, Engineer Ajerco C. Coma, in connection with

the request of Barangay Minto to avail of its water services as authorized under Municipal
Resolution No. 06-2014.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the provisions of the Memorandum of Agreement be made an
integral part of this resolution.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the Offices of the
Mayor and the Camalig Water District through its General Manager, and such other concerned
offices/agencies, for their information and appropriate action.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY on motion of Honorable Councilor Frances John M. Oxales,
and duly seconded by the members present this 31 st day of March, 2014 during their 11 th Regular
Session.
