You have heard that it was said, Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for
those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven (Mt. 5:43-45).
As children of our Father in heaven, we should have His heartand His heart is for ALL His creation. As we pray for
Muslims, some of whom have caused God's people much suffering, may we learn to share His heart's yearning for them.
for God's comfort, encouragement, and provision for the pastors and churches. Some pastors' families lived in a
part of their church and lost everything. We praise God that no families suffered casualties.
for the protection of the AG school in Maradi. Workers in this city write, Soldiers have been sent to our school
right now to protect it.... I know God is in control of the whole situation! Thank you for praying!
for safe travel for workers who need to return home from Niamey. Car trouble has kept them from leaving.
for wisdom as the Church and individual local churches move forward in the midst of devastation. Pray that their
actions will be a testimony to those around, even to those responsible for the damages.
