Specification of procedures and tasks
Each test taker will be undergo three tasks. First, the test taker will be interviewed by the examiner. Second, the
test taker will do a monologue about a given specific topic. Lastly, the examiner will then have a discussion of a
particular abstract idea with the examiner.

Salience of parts/tasks
The first test requires response as the test taker is expected to answer the question with the appropriate answer.
Although the remaining two tests requires response also, the interview part only requires minimal thinking skill as
it only talks about the things that the test taker usually do or know. The second test in which the test taker is
encouraged to speak non-stop requires more thinking. On the other hand, the third requires all of the test takers
know-how on an abstract idea.

Sequence of parts/tasks

First part: Interview This will be easy questions as the examiner will only open topics like personal information,
experiences, hobbies, etc.
Second part: Monologue - The test taker will be given a topic and will be asked to talk about it for about 2 minutes.
The examiner will give 1 minute for the test taker to prepare and gather the information he can muster as he is
encourage to speak non-stop.
Third part: Discussion The test taker will be given a more abstract question in which the he/she is encourage to
express his opinions and support his ideas with longer replies.

All of the parts are important for it encompasses the skill of critical thinking and speaking ability

Speeded test: 2 minutes for each instruction
First Part: 5 minutes (the time given will be allotted to the test takers interview)
Second Part: 3 minutes (1 minute to prepare his ideas, 2 minutes to present it to the examiner)
Third Part: 5 minutes (1 minute to prepare his ideas, 4 minutes to present it to the examiner)

2.4 Scoring Method

Criteria for correctness
The scoring will be based on how fast the response of the test taker is and his speaking ability.
