9.ABATEMENTACTIONS

wirepriortouse.Utilizegriphoisttomanuallyliftandlowerload.
Anchorsmustbestrongenoughtosafelywithstandtheforcerequiredtomove
loads.Anchorssetforhoistsandwinchesshouldbesetataconvenientheight
toprovidesafeandeffectiveoperation.

Maintainaworkloadof5:1,neverloadgearmorethan1/5thelimit.
Properlycalculateloadspriortouseofrigging.Estimateloadweightandsize
priortotension.
Crewmemberswillbeeducatedandtrainedonhowtoinspect,setup,and
operateequipment.Allequipmentwillbeinspectedpriortouse.Useof
PersonalProtectiveEquipmentatalltimes(hardhats,safetyglasses,gloves,
etc.)
