I am writing to express my support for Nasir Jamal in his application for scholarship to pursue
his study in the master program in Professional Accounting. I had very close working
relationship with Nasir Jamal at Qatar Charity Swat based non-profit organization for the last
two years as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. During his work at QC, I had the opportunity to
know him very well.
As Assistant Accounts Officer, he always completed his tasks efficiently and effectively which
brought him praises from the whole department. He plays an important role in the
implementation process of new accounting software that replaced the former excel based
accounting system. Nasir has always taken his responsibilities seriously and was passionate
about his performance. I found him a natural leader with task oriented qualities. He is an honest,
considerate and supportive individual who has the ability to understand things from other
persons perspective. His personality never reflects actions which could have negative
consequences for the well-being of his co-workers.
This master program is a perfect match with his future goals and ambitions. Based on his recent
experience and dedication to the field of accounting, I am confident to say that Nasir have the
potential to get a good job on his return after completion of his study. As he belongs to a lower
class income family, his success will become a real source of inspiration for his family and
people of his village. I believe that an international exposure in a competitive education
environment will further broaden his wealth of knowledge and technological skills. This will
benefit his native country when he applies those skills in an organization on his return. To the
host country, his research contribution in the field of accounting will be a great asset.

What areas can you identify that the applicant would benefit from further development, in order to
successfully complete their program?
This program provides unique opportunity for Nasir Jamal to gain practical experience. This study will in
Nasir still needs in-depth knowledge of international accounting standards, internal audit and control and
enterprise business accounting in order to get high position jobs in the market. He would need further
skills how to comprehensively develop finance manual, administration manual, internal audit manual and
how to strengthen the internal control system. To get managerial position in the market, he needs to
explore budget preparation and execution. I believe this program provides unique opportunity for Nasir to
make him eligible to compete on Managerial level positions and excel his knowledge in the above areas.
The case studies in this study program will give him the opportunity to look into real life business related
problems. This will obviously improve his analytical skills. As he intended to explore earning
management area with focus on financial reporting, the case study driven program will further help him in

his research. Moreover, the seminars and presentation which are important components of the program
will improve his communication skills which are necessary for high positions jobs in the market.

The caliber of the material he demonstrated in his lectures shows a great deal of understating, and most
importantly how effectively he communicated with his pupils. His lectures in Accounting and Financial
Management were never just a hypothetical scenario from a textbook, but in-depth look into relevant
global accounting and financial structures. He used to go through homework for preparing his lectures
and I witnessed him watching documentaries and other teachers lectures on his laptop. He shows
incredible interests, motivation and dedication with the field of accounting. He used to ask question about
different issues in Accounting and Finance from other faculty members and always search for information
beyond the taught materials. It become evident very clearly in my interaction with him that he is a kind,
caring and compassionate individual.
His enthusiasm for learning and dedication to high standards represents that he has prepared himself well
for his Master study abroad through high academic achievements and experience. His exceptional
knowledge in the field of accounting and critical thinking skills make him a suitable candidate for the
course of Professional Accounting. He remains focused and passionate in his goal to pursue a career in
Accounting and I am confident that Nasir will be successful to achieve his goals after his master study.

Nasir Jamal belongs to the District Malakand which has gone through many challenges in the past few
years such as extremism and natural calamities. His study in Australia will bring new hope for the youth
in his village to try their best in education. This will definitely strengthen ties between home and host

Master in Professional Accountancy will definitely help Nasir to improve technical skills along with
problem solving skills. He will be able to develop numerical and analytical skills and further upgrade the
conceptual basis of accounting. As he is intended to join managerial position in the future, this program
provides the opportunity to him to elevate financial decision making. This program also opens extensive
career opportunity in commerce and industry as well as in government and semi government
