ARULMIGHU MAHA SAPTHAKANNIKA DEVI TEMPLE.

This is the only Kanniaman temple in Malaysia that was build over a 100
years ago for Kanniaman and is now situated in Victoria Hills, Seremban. The
seven deities found in this mysterious temple are Biramme, Mageswary,
Gaumaree, Vyshnavi,Varaagi, Magenthree, and Samundy.
This Victoria Hills actually belongs to Benedict Nair and was a source of
Silica stones used to make glass. The hill is also known as the 'Glass Hill'. Later
then, a Chinese contractor rented this place from Benedict Nair to dig for silica.
When to begin the rock blasting, the contractor started the blasting
procedures exactly as he had done in other places. To his surprise, the dynamite
he fixed did not explode the rocks but was found thrown a few meters away from
the place. He had tried many times but all for nothing but to find the same result
of the dynamite being thrown a few meters away from the place it was planted.
After much failure faced by the Chinese contractor in blasting the rocks of
this Victoria Hills he then contacted a London based expert to help him blast the
rocks. The expert fixed the dynamite in various places, but to their shock the
dynamite did not explode at all but was found thrown away a few meters from the
place it was planted.
The expert then went on to investigate this mystery. One day as he was on
his way with his investigation at Victoria Hills, he came across a snake and shot
the snake out of shock. The London based expert from that incident onwards
started to sweat and have sleepless nights not only that but he's workers were
also always involved in freak accidents. It was then, when he suspected
something superstitious about the snake incident and this Victoria Hills.
After realization, it was only then when the contractor and the London based
expert went to see an old Indian women in the estate who was well known in
solving mysteries. They both told their experiences to the old lady at the estate.
After meditating awhile, the old lady told the two men the explanation that the
Victoria Hills was a sacred place. She told that the Nagamma has been there for
a long time and can be seen in the form of snakes, young ladies and fragrance.
She also told them that they are angry because of the disturbance caused by
these two people. The old Indian lady asked to Englishmen and the contractor to
call all their workers and carry out a special prayers' ceremony in for that they
were all obliged to ask for forgiveness from Nagamma. Prayers were held and a
man went into trance. The man under trance started to move in a snake form,
from the place the rocks were blasted tot he place where the temple is today. He
then showed the place where the Nagamma were.
