Expected RESULT

Expected RESULT

Prerequisites
Installed or Upgraded Oracle EBS R12.2.4 running on Linux x86_64 or any version of certified
linux Database and Oracle EBS nodes
Linux OS 6.5 is installed and configure, with all the required patches and performance and
interoperability patches for EBS R12.2.4
oracle User, with default group as oinsall- owns oracle database and binaries
applmgr user, with default group as apps owns Application layer
BASH is the default shell for the root, oracle and grid user.
Apply DST patch (v18), on Database 11.2.0.4
2 RAC nodes with Grid and database with R12c In Memory binaries installed and configured
with ASM, ACFS, OCFS2/NFS4. ASM compatibility parameter set to R12.1.0.2
2 Node EBS apps tier with shared Application Tier System with OCFS2 or NFS4/NFS3
Backup apps and database before starting upgrade. Space requirements depends on the size
of the database and time required to backup depends on the i/o through put.
