Management
The overall management of BETS rests on a Board of Management. All the Directors and General
Managers under Board of Management have proven qualification and experience with high level of
management capabilities. The management is familiar with the relevant development sectors of
national and international levels. The Board of Management convenes regularly to discuss policy
issues, project management and future course of activities.
Moreover, each and every Director/General Manager meets regularly with the senior division
professionals in order to identify and remove bottlenecks of the Department and discuss status of
different on-going projects and other relevant issues.
BETS management provides backstopping services to the projects including Quality Assurance,
Contractual Negotiations, Financial Management, Travel/Medical, Database Development, Project
Accounting, Report Production, etc.
In addition to that a fully developed Management Information System (MIS) is functional to generate
and provide required management information like status of ongoing projects, developing projects,

EXPERTISE
BETS is steadily consolidating its expertise in energy and power
sector and has already emerged as one of the well-known local
consultancy firms. BETS has carried out feasibility study, design
and supervision, environmental and social assessment of number
of power and energy sector projects. Recently BETS has
completed Detailed Feasibility Study & Environment Impact
Assessment of Haripur 150MW CCPP Project of Bangladesh
Power Development Board (BPDB); Corporatization of Ashuganj
Power Station Project of BPDB. BETS in association with Nippon
Koei Co. Ltd. of Japan has completed the project of 230 KV
Transmission Line and Substations under West Zone Power
System Development Project of PGCB. BETS in association with
NEXANT has carried out the power sector master plan of power
Cell (GoB) under an ADB financed Project. At present BETS is
involved in Construction of Mini Hydro Power Plants in Rural
Areas of Tajikistan funded by IDB. The project is in

Kailashtila Well # 5 SGFL in association with Northstar Drillstem
Testers Inc. Canada. BETS was involved in Fourth Natural Gas
Development Project, Safety and Efficiency Improvement Project

Safety Management System of Petrobangla.
