Many CCPRC activities are held in outdoor settings. In general,
these activities are held rain or shine. Please plan accordingly

interested in understanding and protecting the states
valuable natural resources. MN candidates complete
a 13-day field study course led by a variety of experts
in some of the states most beautiful natural areas
as they learn and practice skills naturalists use to
read the natural world. The MN program develops
volunteer citizen scientists, conservationists, and
educators who can positively impact the natural
resources of the state.

Unveiling McLeod Plantation Historic Site The 55th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry Regiment

Following the 1863 Emancipation Proclamation, African Americans


from the North and the South joined the fight for freedom. Well
explore the experiences of this African American regiment, while
it was headquartered at McLeod Plantation Historic Site, after
Charlestons fall.

Palmetto Pump & USA Climbing Competition


Join us for our annual competition in conjunction with USA
Climbing. This nationally sanctioned event plays hosts to 70+
climbers from around the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S.
