This program may be modified during your term. Please refer to this website for the most
current info. We will not cover loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by any of the
exclusions listed in the complete Insurance policy or the Service Warranty Agreement.
PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE INSURANCE POLICY AS WELL AS SERVICE
CONTRACTCAREFULLY TO DETERMINE YOUR RIGHTS, DUTIES, AND WHAT
IS NOT COVERED.
Your plan has two agreements: Insurance and Extended Warranty. Insurance covers lost,
stolen and accidental damage incidents. Extended Warranty Agreement covers incidents
of malfunction after the expiration of the manufacturer's warranty. When combined with
Insurance, it forms the complete Cricket Protect Program.
You are not required to purchase this protection plan to activate wireless service. This
coverage may provide a duplicate of other sources of coverage.
You are not required to purchase the Service Warranty Agreement to purchase the lost,
stolen and accidental damage coverage under the Cricket Protect Program. You may
purchase the insurance on a stand-alone basis for a monthly premium of $5 or $8 by
calling Cricket Wireless at 1-800-CRICKET.
You may cancel at any time and receive a pro-rated credit (or refund if you
cancel service) of your premiums.
If your service is interrupted due to non-payment, Cricket Protect will be canceled and
you will not be allowed to re-enroll the same device.
If you have an account with multiple lines, you'll need to add Cricket Protect to each line
separately.
If you have Cricket Protect for your current phone and you upgrade to a new Cricket
device, Cricket Protect will still be active on your account. If you bring a new device to

may be a new or reconditioned (like-new) device.
Expedited Post Exchange: The customers must to send the defective device to the

Non-Compliant Returns
Devices are generally considered to be defective and covered by the manufacturer's
warranty (or the limited warranty for reconditioned devices) if the device has stopped
functioning due to no fault of the customer. For example, a software malfunction would
typically be considered a device defect.
The following is a list of items and issues not covered by warranty exchange:
Defects or damage resulting from use of the product, other than normal wear and tear;
Devices that have been disassembled or repaired in such a manner as to adversely affect
performance or prevent adequate inspection and testing to validate the warranty claim;
Devices that are determined not to be covered by warranty exchange will be returned to
the customer. Any fees collected as part of the warranty exchange will not be refunded.

No records are beyond the reach of Little Master Sachin Tendulkar, who became the most highly
insuredcricketer in the fourth edition of the Indian Premier League.
National Insurance Company has provided a cover of Rs 44 crore to Tendulkar, who plays for Mumbai
Indians.
Not far behind him is Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has been given an accident cover of Rs 34
crore by Oriental Insurance.
Last year, Tendulkar and Dhoni were given personal accident covers worth Rs 12 crore and Rs 10 crore,
respectively.
Personal accident covers to players are three times the fees they are receiving from their team owners. The
insurance covers players against personal accident, medical emergencies, loss of baggage and travel risk.
Meanwhile, Oriental Insurance has provided insurance cover to five IPL franchisee teams-Kochi
Tuskers Kerala (Rs 160 crore), Chennai Super Kings (Rs 136 crore), Pune Warriors (Rs 122 crore), Rajasthan
insurers providing the cover along with a private insurer, the official
said, adding the annual premium would be around Rs 40 lakh.
According to another insurance official, the cover has been taken in two parts.
While a fire insurance policy has been obtained for Rs 75 crore,an additional
cover of Rs 25 crore has been bought for household items like
furniture, electronic gadgets and cricket accessories among others.
The fire insurance covers losses from blaze, terror attacks, natural disasters
like earthquakes, and burglary among others. The insurance covers the cost of
the land,compound walls,besides electrical equipment.
The Tendulkars had moved into the sprawling 6,000 square feet villa in
Bandra West in September from a flat that had been allotted to the maestro
under sports quota.
Everyone has a dream of owning a house. I,too, had this dream. I am happy
that I was able to fulfil it, Tendulkar had said while moving into his new abode.
The cricketers residence stands on a plot that earlier housed a dilapidated
bungalow, which he had bought for Rs 39 crore in 2007.
The villa has been secured with high-walled fencing to avoid curious
onlookers. CCTV cameras and sensors have also been installed.
Besides the three storeys above the ground level, the villa reportedly has two
underground basements.
With this deal,Tendulkar has joined a select league of industrialists and
filmstars who have taken such high insurance cover in the recent past.
While filmstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly insured his mansion
Mannat,also in Bandra,for Rs 110 crore,Reliance Industry chairman Mukesh
Ambanis USD 1-billion Antilla has been insured for around Rs 150 crore.

In the light of many previous challenges and recent flood damage faced by cricket clubs the ECB are keen to ensure that all affiliated clubs are
adequately insured and at the best available rates.
Public Liability Insurance covers the Legal Liability of the Club to pay compensation to members of the public where bodily injury or damage to their
property is caused in connection with club activities. Without this the cover clubs would be faced with the cost of the award of damages itself. Members
of the Club personally stand to lose their home and assets, so why take the risk? It is a requirement of ECB that all clubs transact this important cover.
Directors and Officers Liability Insurance provide the directors, officers and trustees of the club with protection against civil or criminal lawsuits and
regulatory proceedings. Without this cover members are placing their personal assets at risk. The cover provides a pool of money that can be drawn on
to fund defence and settlement costs and pay for the costs of legal representation at investigations.
Personal Accident cover provides set benefits to all members of the club and whilst serious injuries are thankfully very rare there have been occasions
where a player or official have suffered serious damage to their eyesight and even fatal accident.
Self-Employed and other Members who do not benefit from a workplace sickness scheme should ensure that any personal accident/sickness
insurance they have arranged individually includes the playing of club cricket.
The increasing trend of large Arson, Theft and Weather related claims makes it more important than ever to ensure your sums insured are adequate.
Under-Insurance will lead to the total sum insured being insufficient to meet the costs of rebuilding and replacing contents/ground machinery. Ultimately
this may lead to the demise of the club
