Organization Name : Travancore Titanium Products Limited, Trivandrum, Kerala.

Project Duration : 3 months.

Objective of the project : The objective of this project was to study the inventory management
practices followed by Travancore Titanium Products Limited and give
suggestions for implementing and effective method of inventory
management. It includes showing better analysis of inventory specially
the combination of ABC and VED analysis for effective control of
inventory in this organization. The project will be very useful to
classify various categories of inventory like raw materials, spares parts,
tools etc.

Contribution to the project : A Selective and Scientific Inventory Management system

which maximizes profit by reducing the cost of materials.

Value Addition : This project helped me to understand how to manage the

inventory so as to contribute to the survival and profit of
the organization.
