New EPSA Web Address: EPSA is now a “dot.com”, no
longer a “dot.org.” Our new, permanent Web address is
www.echoparksecurity.com.
Community Safety Meeting Update: The next Community
Safety meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January
14, at the Edendale Library community room, 2011 W.
Sunset Blvd. We are reevaluating the scheduling of these
meetings because police and city representatives are hav-
ing trouble attending. Everyone who now attends will be
notified of any changes by phone and a notice will be put
in this newsletter.
Support EPSA Member Businesses: Although most EPSA
members are residents, some local businesses are also
members. Barragan’s Mexican Restaurant, Les Frères Taix
French restaurant, Allston Yacht Club (formerly “15”) and
Masa of Echo Park are among the businesses who belong
to our association. Please patronize businesses that are
EPSA members and suggest to the owners of other places
where you shop or dine that they, too, might like to join.
