Major achievements in Caparo Engineering India Ltd.:

1. Developed many new tubes for M/s Gabriel, M/s Tenneco (Which are major shock
absorber suppliers in the country) among other customers. The sizes include
Cylinder bore tubes, high D/t ratio sizes and thin walled tubes.
2. Developed induction hardened tubes (The process to achieve the final mechanical
properties) for OEMs like M/s Honda.
3. Developed Raw Material (After studying the mill capacity for the highest Ultimate
Tensile Strength it can handle, and designing the mechanical properties as per that)
for rolling in tube mill like SAE 1026, SAE 1030 among others for M/s Maruti,
and M/s Roop Automotive.
4. Solving the problem of soot coming on the tubes after heat treatment.
5. Establishing a relation between ratio of thickness reduction to ID reduction
and surface roughness.
6. Making a design formula in order to more accurately design the process for cold
working on the tubes.
7. Making the product presentation for Caparo Engg India Ltd., Tube Division.
8. Have developed two major vendors: One for induction hardening and another for
raw material.

9. Technically convinced M/s Maruti, M/s KCP, M/s Magneti Marelli among others
