First of all, Hats off Preeti..for bringing into light a common but less known disorder...

'the bipolar
disorder'. Coming over to the book, it was really a touching story, and there were moments which
almost made my eyes wet.
1. The initial part of the book is very well written. One can feel the essence of love, and frankly
speaking, a budding lover would really like the letters, calls,etc...between Ankita and
Vaibhav,Abhi,etc,etc :P
2. The mid part is very well narrated. This part is a very emotional part, clearly showing the
depression within Ankita, which later traumatizes her. At this point some may not feel any pity for
the girl, because of the arrogance she possessed, and her gifted beauty which 'trapped' lives of many
boys. The pain and suffering of the girl is very well scripted.
3. The final track of the story is very smooth and simple. It simply narrates the patience, love and
efforts of the doctors which finally pays off. And at the end Ankita with her sheer determination and
patience brings back the illumination in her life and proves 'life is what one makes it'.
Basically its a happy ending story, which started as a love story but slowly turned tragic, and then
some motivational stuffs, and finally a happy ending. The ending could have been more interesting
and a bit complex, that could have given an edge to the novel. The title on the cover page could have
been stylized in a better way. But overall its one of the very good novel I have read so far, and yes, it
was somewhat different from the general trend of the engineering college love stories

Did not like abt the story :

Vaibhav and Ankita were in love from the school time, so when Ankita recovered from depression
why she didn't choose vaibhav. I think, if Vaibhav would have come searching for Ankita to Bombay
or to the rehabilitation center and he would have supported Ankita to recover then it would have
become quite interesting.

The style of narration is simple, no big words or jargons that would make you consult the dictionary,
pace of the story good, I liked the titles the author chose for each of the chapters. I like the positivity
the author wishes to infuse particularly towards the end of the book. I saw shades of MahaShweta in
this book when the author speaks of the mental agony of the victim. This book is an eye opener for us
on mental diseases , it sheds light on how some people who are perceived to be the smartest actually
end up facing problems regarding mental health.

The book definitely deserves a read and as the title suggests it would help us come up with a more
positive attitude towards life. It also (upto some extent ) helps us understand the pain of a mentally
ill person and would change our attitude towards mental illness
