2.1.2 Explain in detail the process of admission put in place by the university.

All admissions are merit based.
Entrance test mode is not in vogue in the university.
Admission committee provides necessary counseling to the students as and
when they need.

Workshop for the students to display environment related models, posters,
write ups and photographs.
College Eco club has a tie up with NGO named Eco-Echo for different

Making the tutorial session as an effective mode for the benefit of advance
lerners by encouraging them to take up challenging projects .
Copies of Academic Calendar are given to the faculty so as to help them to plan

The faculty prepare semester wise teaching plan for each subject. The plan is
done as per the allotted lectures for each topic.
Each Department co-coordinatormonitors the implementation of Teaching Plan
of faculties atthe month end.

books which are purchased for the library.
Library provides access to internet for both faculties as well students.

The college takes feedback from the students periodically to evaluate the quality
of teaching. Based on students evaluation, faculty is given necessary
suggestions and guidance by principal to improve the quality of teaching.
Attendance Committee monitors the students attendance regularly. Defaulters
list is displayed at the end of every month and one week detention period is
given to the defaulters students to compensate the attendance.
Parents are informed through letters about the shortfall of attendance of their
wards.
The results of all Examinations are discussed with the parents of students and

Teachers are using modern techniques like LCD for PPT Presentation and other

evaluated by written test of 20 marks, and 5 marks class participation,
behaviour and attendance.

The college has an active placement cell under which faculties counsel the
students and offer campus recruitments.
The college wants the students to become good citizens and work with a spirit
of co-operation and team work. Leadership qualities are developed among the
students through several competitions.
The Alumni Association extends its co-operation in various activities.

The college has a Grievance Redressal Cell for redressing the grievances of the
students in connection with the evaluation at the college level.
Students can apply for verification of marks, photocopy of their answer books
and revaluation of their answer books.
If the students have any grievance related to any University Examinations, at the
University level, there are provisions for obtaining photocopy of the answer book,
revaluation of the answer book etc.

Each Department has framed its own learning objectives and which are
achieved through various academic and extra-curricular activities.

orientation programme.
The learning outcomes are discussed with the parents in Parents Teachers
meeting.
