IBPS syllabus for RRB (Regional Rural Banks) for officer scale I,II,III and office assistants consists of
following five sections.

Reasoning -50 marks


Quantitative aptitude-50 marks

General knowledge with special reference to banking industry-40 marks
Computer knowledge-20 marks

Total time of exam- 2 hrs. 30 minutes


Negative Marking: There is a penalty of 0.25 marks out of 1 mark question in IBPS RRB exams for
officers and office assistants if any wrong answer has been given.
Minimum Cut Off Marks: The candidates must secure minimum cut off marks in each of the
paper to qualify IBPS RRB Exam. The minimum cut off marks will be 24 (Gen. Category) and 21 (for
reserved category). Also the candidates have to score minimum standardized score to be eligible for
interview.

The syllabus of IBPS RRB Officers scale I,II,III and office assistants is same. Only the difficulty level of
questions varies. IBPS RRB Officers exam will be little difficult than Office assistants.
