Row 1: With hook size G and


ocean, ch 81 (89, 97), hdc in 2nd ch
from hook, hdc in each rem ch across,
turn. (80, 88, 96 hdc)
Row 2: Ch 1, hdc in each hdc
across, turn.
Rep Row 2 until back measures 14
inches. Place a marker at each side
for underarms.
Rep Row 2 until back measures 7 (8,
9) inches above underarm markers.
First shoulder shaping

Row 1: Ch 1, hdc in each of next 28


(30, 32) sts, turn.
Rows 2 & 3: Ch 1, hdc in each
st across, turn. At the end of Row 3,
fasten off.
Second shoulder shaping

Row 1: Sk center 24 (28, 32) sts

for neckline opening, attach ocean in


next st, ch 1, hdc in same st as beg ch
1, hdc in each rem st across, turn. (28,
30, 32 hdc)
Rows 2 & 3: Rep Rows 2 and 3 of
first shoulder shaping.
FRONT

Make 2
Row 1: With hook size G and
ocean, ch 37 (41, 45) hdc in 2nd ch
from hook, hdc in each rem ch across,
turn. (36, 40, 44 hdc)
Row 2: Ch 1, hdc in each hdc
across, turn.
Rep Row 2 until front measures 14
inches. Place marker at underarm.
Rep Row 2 until front measures 5
(6, 7) inches from underarm marker.
Neckline shaping

Row 1: Ch 1, hdc in each st across


leaving 4 (5, 6) sts at neckline edge
unworked, turn. (32, 35, 38 hdc)
Row 2: Ch 1, hdc in each st across,
dec 1 hdc at neckline edge, turn.
[Rep Row 2] 3 (4, 5) times. (28, 30,
32 hdc)
Shoulder shaping

Row 1: Ch 1, hdc in each of next 28


(30, 32) hdc, turn.
Rep Row 1 until front measures
same as back, fasten off.
SLEEVE

Make 2
Note: Sleeve is crocheted vertically.
Row 1: With hook size G and ocean,
ch 41, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in
each rem ch across, turn. (40 hdc)
Row 2: Ch 1, hdc in each st across,
turn.
Rep Row 2 until sleeve measures
16 (18, 20) inches.
Row 3: Holding opposite side of
foundation ch to last sleeve row and
matching sts, sl st in each st across,
fasten off.
ASSEMBLY

With hook size G and ocean, sl st


shoulder seams tog and side seams to
underarm markers. Matching center
of sleeve to shoulder seam, sl st sleeve
into armhole openings.
SLEEVE RIBBING

Rnd 1 (RS): With hook size E, at


tach bluette at sleeve seam, ch 1, sc

evenly sp around sleeve opening, join


in beg sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in each sc around,
join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, [fpdc around next dc,
bpdc around next dc] rep around, join
in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.
Rnds 48: Ch 3, [fpdc around fpdc,
bpdc around bpdc] rep around, join in
3rd ch of beg ch-3. At the end of Rnd
8, fasten off.
NECKLINE RIBBING

Row 1: With hook size E, attach


bluette at right front neckline, ch 1,
sc evenly sp around neckline opening,
turn.
Row 2: Ch 3, dc in each st across,
turn.
Row 3: Ch 3, [fpdc around next
dc, bpdc around next dc] rep across,
turn.
Row 4: Ch 3, [fpdc around
fpdc, bpdc around bpdc] rep across,
fasten off.
BOTTOM RIBBING

Row 1: With hook size E, attach


bluette in left front bottom and work
ing in opposite side of foundation ch,
sc in each st across bottom edge of
cardigan, turn.
Rows 2 & 3: Rep Rows 2 and 3 of
neckline ribbing.
Rows 47: Rep Row 4 of neck
line ribbing. At the end of Row 7,
fasten off.
LEFT BUTTON EDGE

Row 1: With hook size E, attach


bluette at left front neckline edge,
ch 1, work 84 (91, 98) sc evenly down
edge, turn.
Rows 28: Ch 1, sc in each sc
across, turn. At the end of Row 8,
fasten off.
RIGHT BUTTONHOLE EDGE

Row 1: With hook size E, attach


bluette at right front bottom edge, ch
1, work 84 (91, 98) sc evenly up front
edge, turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across,
turn.
Rows 3 & 4: Rep Row 2.
Row 5: Ch 1, sc in each of next 2 sc,
[ch 2, sk next 2 sc, sc in each of next 9
(10, 11) sc] 7 times, ch 2, sk next 2 sc,
sc in each of next 3 sc, turn.
