Mrs. Joes cooked Lima beans and
ham.

Yes, I think it did change how he thinks.

He might realize that you dont need to
steal o get what you want.
He liked the boy because she can see
herself in him. If he didnt like the boy
then she would not clean him up and
fed him.
It was unbelievable because it is not
the common reaction that people do
when someone try to steal their purse.
I think Roger wanted to steal again but
he changed his mind when they get
there.
I think the characters overcome some
issues in their life. For Mrs. Jones it
was looking back in her past and for
Roger it was saying thank you for what
he got and being thankful and
motivated to work to achieve what he
wants.
It was entitled thank you because it
was said by Roger for the kindness of
Mrs. Jones.

The story is all about repaying bad

things with kindness. You can influence
anyone by just being kind.
The story is about a boy who stole a
ladys purse. And the reaction of the
lady was unbelievable because instead
of bringing the boy to the police, she
fed him and gave him money.

Be kind to everyone no matter what

bad things other people did to you.
