Restricting by triangulation
The following drop-down lists allow you to use a triangulation to limit the dataset. Only those samples that fall in the specified triangulation will be used in
the analysis. Select from the drop-down list the X, Y and Z coordinate field for each dataset.
Note For composite databases, specify the mid point coordinates of the samples. For block models specify the centroid coordinates of the blocks to be
used.
Restricting by global conditions
Enter, or select from the drop-down list, the W tag and S tag variables to be used as a condition for multiple databases. The W tag is any variable that has
a numeric value and the S tag is any variable that has a character value.
For example, a condition of '$w eq 2' will select values of 2 for a specified W tag variable.

Global Conditions template
Enter, or select from the drop-down list, the name of the template to save to. The current state of the Data Elements section (that is, all data types,
attributes and conditions) can be saved to a template. Select the Save As button to save the template. If the chosen template already exists, then you will
need to confirm whether or not you want to overwrite it.
Condition Title
Enter the condition title (a maximum size of 40 alphanumeric characters), for example 'Grade above 0.4'. The condition title will appear on the
statistics/graphs below the plot title.
Condition expression
Enter the expression (a maximum size of 132 alphanumeric characters), for example '$w gt 0.4'. See Appendix B for a list of available operators/conditions.
Tip
Use $w for the W tag variable and $s for the character tag variable to set the condition on multiple datasets.
When a drillhole database is used to run advanced statistics it is not possible to limit the data by a condition in a field located in a different table. For
example: Run a general stats in ASSAY:AU limit by GEOL:LITH field.
Bound Tri
Select this check box to use a triangulation to limit the dataset. Only those samples that fall in the specified triangulation will be used in the analysis.
Tri Settings
Click
to edit the settings for the triangulation. The following panel displays.
Use this panel to select the triangulation that will be used to insert the points.
Enter the triangulation name or select it from the drop-down list. The drop-down list contains all triangulation files found in the current working directory.
Click Browse to select a triangulation file from a different location.
Use the Pick From Screen button to select a triangulation directly from the screen.
Graph Type
The current state of the Graph Type section, that is, graph titles and attributes, can be saved in a nominated template. The template name can be manually
entered or selected from the drop-down list. Use the Save As button when you are ready to save the template. If the chosen template already exists, then you will
need to confirm whether or not you want to overwrite it.

Statistics results file
Enter, or select from the drop-down list, the name of the Statistics results file (.srf), or click Browse to select a file from another location. The format of
the default file name is:
<specification_name>_<graphic>_<dataid>.srf
If the system encounters nay problems while running the statistics, the problem areas will be placed in a file with the same name as the results file and
suffixed with an extension of .err.
Display graphs
Select this option to display the statistics/graphs.
Display in Envisage
Select this check box to display the statistics/graphs in Envisage. Each statistic/graph displays in its own window in the main Graph window (the Graph
window has the same size as the current Primary Window). You can specify how many of these "sub-windows" you require.

Select this check box to display the statistics/graphs in Envisage. Each statistic/graph displays in its own window in the main Graph window (the Graph

For example, if you enter '4' as the number of sub-windows for the X axis, and '3' as the number of sub-windows for the Y axis, you will get 12 subwindows. If there are more graphs/statistics than the specified number of sub-windows, you will be able to scroll (by page or by graph).

Display in Excel
Select this check box to display the statistics/graphs in an Excel spreadsheet. The drop-down list displays all Excel files (.xls or .xlsx) files found in your
current working directory, or you may click Browse to select a file from another location. Click Browse to select a file from another location.
To create a new file, enter the file name and file extension.
Do not display graphs
Select this option if you don't want to display the statistics/graphs after the statistics have been calculated.
Select the Run statistics in a shell window check box to view the statistics as they are being calculated.
