Thank you for considering my application for the position of Administrative Assistant with Bishop. I believe I can be of
great value to this role, in light of my academic and professional qualifications. Through this letter, I hope you will
understand why I might be the most adequate profile for this position.
Academic Background
I graduated in Marketing Management at ISCTE Business School, which is part of the University of Lisbon, and
considered one of the most recognised degrees in Portugal. According to the Academic Ranking of World
Universities 2014, the University of Lisbon was awarded as one of the best 250 universities worldwide, which is a
demonstration of the high academic standards that are valued in the campus.
Working Experience
Through my experience in Spotcap, a Rocket Internet FinTech Venture focused on providing business loans, I
acquired knowledge in how to work accurately and with precision, by drafting several reports on our internal
operations, as well in how to survey and improve our processes in order to accommodate expansion projects.
In a fast-growing environment with several projects to handle, I learnt how to organize my own work and in how to
prioritize my tasks. Moreover, I participated in the preparation of multiple presentations to our main investors, where
my communication skills played a critical role.
As AIESEC Moldovas Country Manager, as well as Head of Marketing and Expansions at AIESEC Mozambique, I
had the opportunity to work abroad in different regions with people from different countries.
In Moldova, I negotiated, drafted and signed mutiple contracts with several national and international partners, as
well managed high level of administrative work due to +40 projects and +150 volunteers that had to be managed.
In Mozambique, I acquired knowledge in how to conduct surveys. Through a partnership with one of the biggest
national market research companies, we were able to determine objectives, develop questionnaires, conduct the
surveys and analyse the respective data in a way that allowed us to grow our organization incredibly that year.
Why me?
I believe that these experiences provided me with the right skills to well-execute the role I am applying for. My
academic and professional background is aligned with the job requirements and I have shown conceptual skills and
analytical thinking when facing challenges in my past working experiences.
I believe I would excel in this role, learn from the fast-paced environment Bishop offers and ultimately benefit the
company with my presence, by bringing to the team my results-oriented mindset, critical thinking, and
entrepreneurial attitude.
