BCII User Notes

The Bizerba BCII scale is designed for use straight out of the box and is
suitable for use as a basic label printer; printing price embedded bar coded
labels for scanning at the cash till.
The following pages contain basic user instructions advising how to edit and
input new PLUs, change the company name on the label format and change
label rolls.
The scale is supplied as new with one years warranty. Please contact your
supplier for support.
Both colour and plain white labels for the scale are available at the following
prices:

Basic Operational Information

Print PLU
Using the black numeric keys input the PLU number and press ENTER.
The PLU details will be displayed on the screen.
To cancel press CLR key.
To print press the Yellow No 1 Key.
Overwrite price
With the PLU displayed on the screen press the PLU Man KEY. Type in a
new price and print a label. Next time the PLU is recalled it will revert to the
programmed price.
Paper feed
Press the paper feed key and the scale will issue one label.
Set a tare
Place product on scale and press the tare key.
Press the tare key to resume tare.
To zero the scale press the Zero Key.

Press 110 (black numeric keys).
Input required PLU number.
Press ENTER.

The scale will display Menu 01 (shows on bottom left of screen as 01);

Press ENTER.
Input price.
Press ENTER.
Menu 02 =
Not required press ENTER twice.
Menu 03 =
Menu 04 =
Press ENTER.
Input shelf life in days.
Press ENTER.
Menu 05 =
Menu 06 =
Press ENTER.
Input 0 to not allow price overwrite or 1 to allow overwriting.
Press ENTER.
Menu 07 =
Press ENTER.
Input 0 for a weighed product or 1 for a non-weighed product.
Press ENTER.
Menu 08 =
(N/A for nonweighed goods)
Press ENTER.
Input 0 for price per kg or 1 for price per 100g.
Press ENTER.
Menu 09 =
This is not required press ENTER twice.
Menu 10 =
Press ENTER.
Type in PLU description.
Press ENTER.

Use key 45/CR for a new line (3 lines of text are possible)
Use key 44/SP for a space
Press and hold for capitals.
Press MOD
To load more PLUs go back to Step 1.
Change Company Name

(for plain white labels only)
If you are using pre printed colour labels in the scale, the company
name and footer will already be pre printed.
If you have plain white labels and wish to input a company name,
follow the instructions below.
Press MOD.
Press 20101 (black numeric keyboard).
Press ENTER.
Type in company name followed by ENTER.
Press MOD (returns scale to normal working mode).
