write the Edict of Milan, which helped make Christianity a lawful religion. This
primary document was important to my website since it gave me an idea of what
Constantine was thinking, and I could quote it very easily.

helped shape the future course of Western civilization. This article helped me
because it gave me a list of major events on Constantine's life in chronological
order for a timeline.

website because it gave me tons of background information on the Byzantine
Empire and the founding of Constantinople.

and his army saw a cross of light in the sky above the sun with words in Greek
that are generally translated into Latin as In hoc signo vinces (In this sign
conquer). This article helped my website because now, I can include The Cross
in Constantine's legacy.

Christianity are based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christianity is divided
into three main denominations: Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and

Protestant. This article gave me more information on Christianity, that way I


could better understand Constantine's motives.

tolerant towards Christianity, but as the new religion was growing, they new that
they must find a way for it to stop. Because there was not a whole chapter on
Constantine, but only a paragraph, this source was not the best. But, the
information that it did have, I could use for background information.

This article was very useful since I could use this data to support my thesis.

"Constantine was an effective military general who always won his battles, and
his soldiers came to follow him because he was always victorious. As for his
legacy, he favored Christians, made Christianity a legal permitted religion and
paved the way for Christianity to become the dominant religion within 150 years
after his death." This was a good source for my website because it gave me
somebodies opinion on Constantine's leadership and legacy.

2015. "Constantine has left several legacies. One of these is his impact on the
Roman Empire. He was a very powerful ruler and even though his empire did not

survive in the West beyond the fifth century, his establishment of Constantinople
as a New Rome (both religious and secular) was very important." This was a
good source for my website because it gave me somebodies opinion on
Constantine's leadership and legacy.
